About Brass Monkey Bar

Brass Monkey is a local bar in San Antonio, known for its grungy ambiance and eclectic beats. Our goal for this social media collaboration was to showcase a special night of the week known as “Thurzgays”, a safe place made for our queer community where fashion and equality is the main focus.

Our goal was to commemorate pride month with a theme night where fashion was the main focus or what we called the Brass Monkey “Pride Gala” inspired by the Met Gala. A secondary part of this project was to recap the event, Theme Nights, and the bartenders in a series of short videos, to rebrand the bar in a fun, personable matter to their audience.
